Clipmaker

Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 4, 2026

Clipmaker, available at https://clipmaker.art, respects user privacy. This Policy explains what data we process and how we use it when providing the service.

Clipmaker helps create short clips from YouTube videos: users paste a link, choose timecodes manually or let AI select moments, upload a banner if needed, and download ready clips.

Data we process

  • email, name and account data used during registration or login;
  • Google authentication data if the user chooses Google sign-in;
  • YouTube video links submitted to the service;
  • uploaded images, including banners for clips;
  • job settings: timecodes, number of clips, processing mode and video quality;
  • temporary files: source materials, transcripts, generated clips and technical logs;
  • technical data: IP address, browser, device, request date and time;
  • cookies required for login, security and correct site operation.

How we use data

We do not sell users’ personal data.

  • to register and authenticate users;
  • to create clips from YouTube videos;
  • to select moments with AI;
  • to add banners to clips;
  • to provide ready files for download;
  • to maintain service security;
  • to fix errors and improve Clipmaker;
  • to contact users about service operation.

File storage

Clipmaker stores generated clips and related temporary files for a limited time. As stated on the website, ready files are stored for about one hour and then deleted automatically.

Technical logs may be stored longer when needed for diagnostics, security or protection of service rights.

Third-party providers

Clipmaker may use third-party providers for hosting, authentication, video processing, speech recognition, AI analysis and technical monitoring.

We share only the data necessary for the relevant function.

Clipmaker works with videos hosted on third-party platforms, including YouTube. We do not control those platforms’ rules, availability or content.
